We truly appreciate working with locally owned construction companies like Landry French and Hebert
Construction. Two recent jobs included demolition and site prep for their respective clients Bangor Savings Bank and Dirigo Federal Credit Union.
New Bangor Savings Bank Branch on Turner Street in Auburn
We’re close to completion of the site work for Landry French Construction’s Bangor Savings Bank project. One of the major challenges was to install a 66 inch
reinforced concrete pipe storm drain and an 18 inch ductile iron sewer main at a depth of 30 feet. Not your typical site prep task but the St. Laurent and Son team always finds a way.
The project required we locate and remove existing utilities and demolish the existing
structure including removal of the foundation. We excavated and backfilled for the building foundation, parking lot, sidewalks and electrical system. Manholes and a bypass for water, sewer and
stormwater were also installed.
We’ll dress up the site with poured concrete sidewalks, fencing and loam and seed for green areas.
Dirigo Federal Credit Union Branch Upgrade on Main Street in Lewiston
Hebert Construction is the contractor for the new Dirigo Federal Credit Union. They asked us to do the site work for the temporary branch and demolish and completely
remove the old main office, including the foundation.
Then, we executed utility relocation, sitework, paving, striping, and installation of new granite curb for their new main office. We’re really proud of our handy
work with the large Redi-Rock wall we installed. Most of our projects go unnoticed because they’re underground but this project highlights our above ground work too!
We want to thank Landry French Construction and Hebert Construction for trusting us to execute these
two projects.
